Imaging flow cytometry is a potent technology capable of joining the fast speed of acquisition and high statistical power of flow cytometry together with the superior resolution and detailed morphological description of cells given by fluorescence microscopy. The Amnis Imagestream X MK II in IMM Facility is currently the most advanced imaging flow cytometer on the market.
Today’s Tech Café will present an overview of imaging flow cytometry applications such as: Characterization of immunological synapses, host-pathogen interactions, analysis of yeasts based on machine learning and artificial intelligence, direct phenotyping of extracellular vesicles and illustration of their cell internalization and intracellular trafficking, assessment of red blood cells integrity for hematological applications.
